Its Time… on the Blue corner is 5’4”, Moroccan descent, the girl who rose to fame with the item song Dilbar, The Street Dance, Nora Fatehi… (The crowd roars in excitement). On the Red corner 5’3”, Swedish flicka, Mixed Martial Art trained, the Chamma Chamma girl, Elisabet Avramidou Aka. Elli Avram, and the crowd screams chanting Chamma Chamma Chamma….. yes time to wake up… this never happened except in my dreams. Its been a few months I have been following both of them on instagram one fine evening, watching Elli’s post I thought, what would be great to watch…???, A Dance Off between Nora and Elli and I have been fantasizing about it since then.
I really don’t want to introduce both of them, without a doubt, they are the queens of Bollywood. Nora Fatehi, Canadian-Morrocan self-taught actress and dancer, whos turning point was probably Naah by Guru Randhawa, but most people know her from The item number Dilbar or the remake of Saki Saki. Well, she caught my attention from the song Garmi from Street Dancer. On the other hand there is Elli Avram short for Elisabet Avramidou, who loves dancing to the extent that she cannot go a day without showing off her talent and why not, anyone having such talent would definitely boast.
Both had their fair share of hardships in the industry but no matter what projects they worked on, they were an ultimate hit. How many of you now remember Sushmita Sen for Dilbar Dilbar, aren’t you hooked with her breath taking belly dance of Nora that leaves your jaw on the floor. And then her social media fan base is separate which roared after her dance move on Taki Taki DJ Snake. And who can stop thinking about the Garmi song, watching that song in a party at my home, all eyes got hooked to the screen, and when she lies on the floor sliding, moving her booty across the floor, the song rightly had the lyrics “Parra Itna High hua.. Kay Thermometer toot gaya”
On the other hand Elli Avram scorches the screen with her raunchy Chamma Chamma, which twenty years ago originally featured Urmila Mantodkar, but Elli Avram had the whole world grooving to her tunes. Her sensuality and the all-time sexy dance moves has got 325+ Million views on Youtube. Then its her Dance project on the song Buzz, after watching I was spell bound and had to say “Tera Buzz Mujhay Jeenay na Day”.
Both became a household name after their participation in Big Boss and are ruling the hearts of their fans. Now the question still remains, who would win the dance off between them, would it be dancer cum actor Nora Fatehi or figure skater Elli Avram. Nora’s street dancing is an extravagant asset of hers, that has raised her levels in the Bollywood, where the multi talented Elli Avram with her soulful dance projects where she has showcased her talent for modern contemporary with perfect balancing techniques and her Bollywood moves in saree becoming the modern days Sri Devi, she is no match for anyone in Bollywood.
The dance off would be very competitive, Nora Fatehi's hip hook move would be the biggest advantage for her, her control on belly shake is a pure seduction. On the other hand Elli is trained in Mix Martial Arts and has been a figure skater which gives her a perfect balance and aerobic moves. I am already in that zone where I can see both of the showing off their sensual moves across the floor twerking again and again and again. Wouldn’t that be a delight? This can go on and on, and it can never end, in my mind none of them misses a single step where I can say, yes you lost. They both are fantastic dancers and my fantasy goes on. Maybe one day we can see the challenge on our screens. What are your thoughts about it? Do share in the comments below.
